Reports the publication of the names of every man indicted for a sex-related offense in Dallas County from 1960 to 1976 — over 2,100 men, 341 of them multiple offenders — compiled by hand from thousands of three-by-five index cards; the 20-page KGWP newspaper released March 8, International Women's Day; the KCHU-FM broadcast of the names; the naming of the project for Kitty Genovese; the leafleting of acquitted rapist Pete Cole's neighborhood; the Dallas Civil Liberties Union's refusal to act ("If men who were cleared of rape feel they have been libeled, they can sue"); and the newsletter's statement: "this society has failed to deal with rape, and women must."
